The short version
Everything you type into a calculator on this site stays in your browser. Your height, weight, age, sex and body measurements are never sent to us, because the calculations run on your device and there is no server receiving them.
What the calculators do with your input
Nothing leaves the page. The formulas are JavaScript running locally. We do not store your entries, we do not transmit them, and we could not retrieve them if asked. Refreshing the page discards them.
What we currently collect
At present this site runs no analytics, no advertising scripts, no tracking pixels and no cookies. If you visit and use a calculator, no record of that is created by us.
The only thing stored on your device is a single value in your browser’s local storage recording whether you chose light or dark mode, so the site remembers your choice on your next visit. It contains no personal information, is not sent to us or anyone else, and is not used to identify or track you — you can clear it at any time through your browser’s settings.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which typically include IP address, browser type and requested page. Those are generated by the infrastructure, retained briefly for security and reliability, and not used by us to build a profile of you.
What will change if we add advertising
This site is intended to be funded by display advertising. Advertising has not been added yet. When it is, this page will be updated before those scripts go live, and will state which networks are used, what they collect, and how to opt out. If consent is required in your region, a consent control will gate those scripts — meaning they will not load until you agree, rather than loading behind a banner that only appears to ask.
The same applies to analytics. If any is introduced, it will be privacy-first and disclosed here first.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. If that changes, this section will describe how to make those requests and how long they take. You can contact us at any time via the contact page.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. Adult BMI thresholds do not apply to children and teenagers, who are assessed on age-and-sex percentile charts instead.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. We will not quietly begin collecting data that this page says we do not collect.
